Dr. Angela Leung
Dr. Angela Leung is a student-centered leader and change agent in the field of education, bringing three decades of combined experience across educational consulting, academic and F-1 visa advising, admissions, enrollment management, credential evaluation, program administration, research, and teaching.
Mission
At Holistic College Prep, our mission is to provide comprehensive and personalized educational consulting for middle and high school students. We recognize that each student brings unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and we work collaboratively to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their fullest potential.

Student Assessment
In order to effectively advise students, I spend time getting to know them, their talents, skills, interests, and preferences.
Academic Planning
I review transcripts and academic record to provide guidance on course selection, dual enrollment recommendation, academic goal setting, and strategies.
Standardized Test Planning
SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, IB, AP, A-Levels, or test optional? I help students devise a strategic approach to standardized testing.
College List Development
The admission process has never been more selective and competitive. I encourage students to reach high while still making sure that their lists are grounded with affordability consideration.
College Visit
If campus visits are part of your plan, I help you decide where to go and how to make the most of your day.
Extracurricular Activities
I help students identifying and pursuing extracurricular activities that align with their interests and goals, and stand out on college applications
College Application Strategies and Review
The college admission landscape is constantly changing, I coach students to navigate and manage the complex college application process, with guidance on all admission options (Regular Decision, ED/EA, SCEA, Rolling).
I provide complete application process support, including review of two application platforms (such as Common App) up to 10 applications before submission.
Additional application platform(s) and application final review support are available.
Essays
How to distinguish your essay from all the others? I help students brainstorm original topics, discover their voice, and stay authentic.
Resume Building
I help students create standout resumes, highlighting their achievements and experiences to make a strong impression on college admissions and summer jobs.
Decision Support
My goal is to ensure that students have lots of great choices. I provide acceptance and waitlist decision support in your final decision of where to enroll.
